Biography
Whoopie Van Raam is a Dutch actress. She was born in Amsterdam and grew up in the Netherlands, Spain and the United Kingdom. After studying classical piano at the Conservatoire in the Netherlands, she trained as an actor at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London.
Van Raam began her career in Dutch television and film, appearing in series such as Spangas and the feature Radeloos. She made her professional stage debut in Babette’s Feast at the Coronet Theatre, London, in 2017. Subsequent television roles include a recurring part in the Starz series Counterpart (2018–2019), FBI: International (2021) and the CBS series Watson (2025), in which she plays Irene Adler. In film she portrayed Curtis in Meg 2: The Trench (2023).
