Biography
Wil Calhoun is an American television producer and writer. Born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, he graduated from Louisiana State University. He began his career with guest appearances on the action series MacGyver in 1990 before moving behind the camera.
Calhoun is best known for his work on the sitcom Friends (1994), where he contributed as a writer, teleplay writer and story editor, and rose to executive producer. He received a Primetime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Comedy Series in 1999. In 2002, he co-created What I Like About You with Dan Schneider.
His other credits include writing and producing on Caroline in the City, Jesse, Gary Unmarried, Kath & Kim, Sons & Daughters and Grace and Frankie.
