Biography
Will Keen is an English actor. Born William Walter Maurice Keen on 4 March 1970 in Oxford, he studied English literature at the University of Oxford and began working in theatre in the 1990s.
He has appeared in numerous stage productions and is known for playing Vladimir Putin in the play Patriots (2022–2024), for which he received an Olivier Award for best supporting actor. His screen credits include Michael Adeane in The Crown (2016), Father MacPhail in His Dark Materials (2019–2022), roles in Victor Frankenstein (2015), Operation Mincemeat (2022) and The Man Who Killed Don Quixote (2018), and Boris Berezovsky in the film The Wizard of the Kremlin (2025).
Keen is married to the Spanish actress and director María Fernández Ache; their daughter is the actress Dafne Keen.
