Biography

William Katt is an American actor. Born in Los Angeles in 1951, he is the son of actors Barbara Hale and Bill Williams.

He first gained notice playing Tommy Ross in the 1976 film Carrie. He starred as Ralph Hinkley in the television series The Greatest American Hero (1981–1983) and appeared as Paul Drake Jr. in nine Perry Mason television films between 1985 and 1988, alongside his mother. Other film roles include Big Wednesday (1978), House (1985) and The Man from Earth (2007).
