Biography
William Mace was a film and television editor whose credits include several 1950s features for 20th Century Fox. He edited The Diary of Anne Frank (1959), The Bravados (1958), The Sun Also Rises (1957) and Boy on a Dolphin (1957). Earlier he worked as assistant film editor on How to Marry a Millionaire (1953).
Mace's later career focused on television, where he edited episodes of series including Adventures in Paradise (1959–1961), Combat! (1962–1963) and Breaking Point (1963–1964). He received two nominations from the American Cinema Editors for his television work.
