Biography
William J. O'Malley (1931–2023) was an American Jesuit priest, teacher, author and actor. Born in Buffalo, New York, he graduated from the College of the Holy Cross in 1953.
O'Malley is best known for his portrayal of Father Joseph Kevin Dyer in William Friedkin's The Exorcist (1973), a role for which he also served as technical advisor. It was his only acting credit in a feature film.
