Biography
William R. Stratton, also credited as Bill Stratton or William Stratton, was an American television writer. He contributed episodes to series including The Rockford Files (1977) and wrote extensively for Hawaii Five-O (1971–1978).
Stratton began his professional life in advertising as a copywriter before moving into television. He also wrote several television movies and created the pilot for the series Mickey Spillane's Mike Hammer. He was born in Kansas City, Missouri, in November 1930 and died on 20 August 2014.
