Biography
William T. Cline (1915–1997) was an American cinematographer who worked primarily in television. He began his career in the film industry as a camera operator on features including Hell Bound (1957) and Roadracers (1959).
From the late 1960s he served as director of photography on numerous sitcoms. His credits include He & She (1967–1968), The Governor & J.J. (1969–1970), The Mary Tyler Moore Show (1974–1977, 72 episodes), Phyllis (1975) and MASH (1977–1979, 26 episodes). He later contributed to My Sister Sam* (1986).
