Biography
William Wright, also known as Billy Wright, was an American television writer. He co-wrote three episodes of the animated series The Simpsons with Carolyn Omine: "Dial 'N' for Nerder" (season 19, 2008), "Chief of Hearts" (season 21, 2010) and "Blazed and Confused" (season 26, 2014).
Wright received a Writers Guild of America Award nomination for comedy series writing. Following his death on 16 December 2024, the season 36 episode "Bottle Episode" was dedicated to his memory.
