Biography
William Zappa is a British-born Australian actor. He was born on 13 October 1948 in Hadleigh, Essex, England. He trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama in London and performed with UK companies including the Bristol Old Vic before moving to Australia in 1976.
Zappa has appeared in numerous Australian films and television series. His credits include the role of Zetta in Mad Max 2 (1981), Reilly in Quigley Down Under (1990), Walter in Bootmen (2000), Mal Deacon in The Dry (2021), and Assist. Commissioner Forsythe in Miss Fisher and the Crypt of Tears (2020). He has also worked extensively in theatre.
