Biography
Willow Shields is an American actress born on 1 June 2000 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She made her screen debut with a guest role in the series In Plain Sight (2008), which was filmed in her hometown, and appeared in the television film Beyond the Blackboard (2011).
She is best known for portraying Primrose Everdeen in the The Hunger Games film series, appearing in The Hunger Games (2012), The Hunger Games: Catching Fire (2013), The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 (2014) and The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 (2015). She received nominations for a Young Hollywood Award and an MTV Movie & TV Award for her work in the franchise.
Shields has a twin sister, actress Autumn Shields, and an older brother, actor River Shields. Later credits include the series Spinning Out (2020) and the film Detective Knight: Independence (2023).
