Biography
Wilson Pickett was an American singer, songwriter and actor. Born in Prattville, Alabama, he contributed as composer to the 1991 film The Commitments.
Pickett appeared as an actor in Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (1978) and as Mr. Pickett in Blues Brothers 2000 (1998). He died in Reston, Virginia, in 2006.
