Biography
Wolfgang Bodison is an American actor, director and writer. Born on 19 November 1966 in Washington, D.C., he graduated with a BFA from the University of Virginia in 1988.
Before acting, Bodison worked as a file clerk at Columbia Pictures and in the mail room at Castle Rock Entertainment. He served as Rob Reiner’s personal assistant on the 1990 film Misery and as location manager on A Few Good Men (1992). Reiner cast him, with no prior acting experience, as Lance Cpl. Harold W. Dawson in the latter after an impromptu audition.
Bodison has appeared in films including Freeway (1996) and Akeelah and the Bee (2006), and in television series such as ER, Murder, She Wrote, CSI: Miami, Bones and Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.. He has also directed and written several short films, including The Long Wait (2014) and Sanvean (2017).
