Biography

Wynne Bennett is an American composer, record producer and multi-instrumentalist. She composed the original score for the Apple TV+ series Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed (2026), her narrative television scoring debut, and contributed music to the 2018 film Dirty Computer, the visual companion to Janelle Monáe’s album of the same name. She co-wrote and produced the single “PYNK” (featuring Grimes) from that album, which received a Grammy nomination for Album of the Year.

Bennett has scored numerous films and shorts, including Bama Rush (2023), Dear Ms.: A Revolution in Print (2025) and Give Me an A (2022). She has also written and produced tracks for Twin Shadow’s albums Forget, Confess, Eclipse and Caer, and contributed to soundtracks such as Booksmart (2019) and Space Jam: A New Legacy (2021). She trained at the Mannes College of Music and the New School for Composition, and began playing piano at the Harlem School of the Arts.
