Biography
Xavier Estévez Montoto is a Spanish actor born in 1967 in A Coruña, Galicia. He began his career in theatre in the late 1980s and has worked extensively with Galician companies including Sarabela Teatro and the Centro Dramático Galego.
He has appeared in numerous films and television series, with notable roles including Jefe Geos in Cell 211 (2009), Álvaro in Retornos (2010), and Sargento Espín in The Beasts (2022). Other credits include appearances in The Asunta Case (2024), Fatum (2023), and I Am Nevenka (2024), as well as long-running series such as Rapa and Auga Seca.
Estévez received the Premio María Casares for best supporting actor in 2003 and 2004 for his stage work.
