Biography
Xavier Russell is a British film and television editor. He began his career as an assistant editor in the 1970s and has worked on numerous television series and films, as well as music videos for artists including Elton John.
Russell is the son of director Ken Russell and costume designer Shirley Russell. His editing credits include episodes of Killing Eve (2018), The Witcher (2019), Leonardo (2021), The Chelsea Detective (2022) and The Hour (2011). He has also co-authored the book Metallica: A Visual Documentary (1992) and contributed to rock music publications.
