Biography
Yang Dong-geun, also known as YDG, is a South Korean actor and rapper. Born on 1 June 1979 in Seoul, he began his career as a child actor and gained early recognition for roles in the television series Seoul Ttukbaegi (1990) and Hyung (1991). He studied theatrical performance at Yongin University.
Yang began releasing hip-hop music in 2001. He has appeared in numerous films and series, including Fighter in the Wind (2004), Love 911 (2012), 365: Repeat the Year (2020), Connect (2022), Moving (2023) and Yaksha: Ruthless Operations (2022). He is known internationally for portraying Park Yong-sik/Player 007 in Squid Game (2021).
