Biography
Yasmin Kassim is an Australian actor, comedian and writer of South Asian descent. Born in Perth on 21 May 1990, she trained at the Western Australia Academy of the Performing Arts after completing an arts degree at the University of Western Australia.
She played Kina in the 2017 film Jungle and appeared as Shay Daeng in the soap opera Neighbours (2015–2021). Other credits include Lisa in 7 Guardians of the Tomb (2018), Jessica in The Sex Lives of College Girls (2021), and roles in Anaconda (2025) and The Get Out (2026). She was the first Australian selected for the CBS Comedy Diversity Showcase and has received scholarships to UCB and the Groundlings.
