Biography
Yassir Lester is an American comedian, actor and writer. Born on 22 June 1984 in Miami, Florida, he grew up in Marietta, Georgia, and moved to Los Angeles at the age of 21 to pursue stand-up comedy.
He worked as a writer on Girls (2016–2017) and The Carmichael Show (2016). Lester is known for acting roles including Chris in Making History (2017), the stockbroker Yassir in Black Monday (2019–2021), and Laron's Friend #1 in Key & Peele (2012). He wrote, produced and directed the 2024 sports comedy film The Gutter.
