Biography
Yemi Oyefuwa is a British screenwriter. She holds an MFA in Writing & Producing for TV and is represented by Cynthia Okoye at Curtis Brown.
She wrote episodes of the BAFTA-nominated BBC Three comedy series Dreaming Whilst Black (2023–2025). Other credits include an episode of the Netflix thriller Fool Me Once (2024), episodes of Boarders (2024–), additional material for Everything I Know About Love (2022) and Smothered (2023), and an episode of Tell Me Everything (2022). She created and wrote the Sky Comedy Showcase short Six Foot Something (2023).
Oyefuwa was nominated for a BAFTA Craft Award and named a Broadcast Hotshot in 2024.
