Biography

Yeom Hye-ran is a South Korean film, television and theatre actress. She began her career on the Daehak-ro stage in 1999 as a member of the Yeonwoo Theater Company and made her screen debut with a small role in Bong Joon-ho’s Memories of Murder (2003).

She gained wider recognition through supporting roles in television series including Guardian: The Lonely and Great God (2016), When the Camellia Blooms (2019), The Uncanny Counter (2020–2023), The Glory (2022–2023) and When Life Gives You Tangerines (2025). In film she has appeared in Always (2011), I Can Speak (2017) and No Other Choice (2025) as Lee A-ra. She has received three Baeksang Arts Awards for Best Supporting Actress – Television.
