Biography
Yong Duk Jhun is a South Korean cinematographer, director and animator. Born in Seoul in 1971, he studied at the University of Seoul before completing an MFA at the School of Visual Arts in New York.
He spent many years at DreamWorks Animation, where he served as head of layout and cinematographer on several features, including Kung Fu Panda (2008), Shrek Forever After (2010), The Croods (2013) and Trolls (2016). He later worked at Sony Pictures Animation and Blue Sky Studios, and joined Paramount Animation as co-director of The Tiger's Apprentice (2024).
