Biography
Yoshiko Shinohara is a Japanese actress. She was born on 10 September 1948 in Osaka Prefecture.
Shinohara is known for voicing the Mother in the animated film Grave of the Fireflies (1988). She also appeared in the historical drama The Hidden Blade (2004). Her other credits include roles in television series such as Shadow Warriors (1980) and Zatoichi: The Blind Swordsman (1974).
