Biography
Yoshino Kimura (also credited as Kimura Yoshino and 木村 佳乃) is a British-born Japanese actress, voice actress and singer. She was born on 10 April 1976 in London, England, and grew up in Tokyo.
She is known for her film roles including Chika in Lost Paradise (1997), Shizuka in Sukiyaki Western Django (2007), the First Blind Man's Wife in Blindness (2008), Naoki's Mother in Confessions (2010), and Natsuko (voice) in The Boy and the Heron (2023). She also appeared in an episode of the series Masters of Horror (2005).
Kimura won the Rookie of the Year prize at the 21st Japan Academy Awards for her performance in Lost Paradise. She has been married to actor Noriyuki Higashiyama since 2010.
