Biography
Yoshitaka Koyama is a Japanese anime director, episode director and storyboard artist. He began his career in animation, working in key animation and the animation department on projects including The Transformers: The Movie (1986) and Street Fighter II: The Animated Movie (1994), before moving into directing roles.
Koyama has directed series such as Miami Guns (2000), Rune Soldier (2001), Noramimi (2008) and Handa-kun (2016). He has also served as episode director or storyboard artist on xxxHOLiC (2006), Kamisama Kiss (2012), Golden Time (2013), SHIROBAKO (2014), Haikyu!! (2014) and Charlotte (2015). His wife, Manami Koyama, works as an art director.
