Biography
Yoshiyuki Fujiwara is a Japanese anime director, animator and storyboarder. Born on 14 February 1981 in Tokyo, he graduated from Yoyogi Animation Gakuin. Until around 2010 he worked under the name Yoshiyuki Takayanagi.
He has directed episodes or served as series director on several television series, including Attack on Titan (2013), Sword Art Online (2012), Blue Exorcist (2011), From Me to You: Kimi ni Todoke (2009), Plastic Memories (2015), Engaged to the Unidentified (2014), New Game! (2016), Sing "Yesterday" for Me (2020) and BOCCHI THE ROCK! (2022). He has also contributed storyboards and key animation to many productions.
