Biography

Yōsuke Natsuki (also credited as Yosuke Natsuki) was a Japanese actor. He was born on 27 February 1936 in Tokyo and died there on 14 January 2018.

He made his film debut in The H-Man (1958) and appeared as Kohei's Son in Akira Kurosawa's Yojimbo (1961). That year he received the Elan d'or Award for Newcomer of the Year. He worked extensively with Toho Studios on kaiju films including Ghidorah, the Three-Headed Monster (1964) as Detective Shindo and The Return of Godzilla (1984) as Professor Makoto Hayashida. Other notable roles include Zataki in the miniseries Shōgun (1980) and Odagiri in the television series G-Men '75 (1975–1979). In the 1970s he joined Toshiro Mifune's production company.
