Biography
Yûko Nakamura is a Japanese actress. She was born on 7 January 1975 in Fukui, Japan, and graduated from Tokyo University of Foreign Studies with a degree in Italian.
Nakamura made her film debut in Firefly (Hotaru, 2000). She won the best actress award at the Buenos Aires International Festival of Independent Cinema in 2001 for the role. Other film credits include Strawberry Shortcakes (2006), for which she received the best supporting actress award at the 28th Yokohama Film Festival, Our Little Sister (2015) and Moonlit Winter (2019). She voiced a character in the animated film 5 Centimeters per Second (2007) and played Rei Mori in the series Giri/Haji (2019).
