Biography
Yumi Kamakura is a Japanese anime director and storyboard artist from Hokkaido. She began her career at Production I.G as a production assistant and contributed title design to the 2001 film Sakura Taisen Katsudou Shashin. Her directing debut came with an episode of Kasumin season 2 in 2002.
She has worked primarily with Production I.G and OLM. Kamakura made her series directorial debut with Working!!! in 2015 and has directed episodes or served as storyboard artist on series including Haikyu!! (2014), Inazuma Eleven (2008–2011), Inazuma Eleven: Ares no Tenbin (2018), Inazuma Eleven: Orion no Kokuin (2018–2019), Ranking of Kings (2021) and The Grimm Variations (2024). She has also directed Santa Company (2014) and episodes of Working!! (2010). Since 2008 she has also credited work under the name かまくらゆみ.
