Biography
Yuval Abraham is an Israeli investigative journalist and film director. He was born in 1995 in Beersheba and works as a reporter for the independent outlets +972 Magazine and Local Call. He is also an Arabic–Hebrew translator.
Abraham co-directed, co-wrote, co-edited and co-produced the documentary No Other Land (2024) with Basel Adra, Hamdan Ballal and Rachel Szor. The film documents the displacement of Palestinian communities in the occupied West Bank and won the Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature. He also co-directed and co-wrote NAZA (2026) with Rachel Szor.
In 2024 Abraham received the Emil Grunzweig Human Rights Award for his contribution to human rights in Israel. He delivered an acceptance speech at the 74th Berlin International Film Festival calling for equality between Israelis and Palestinians and an end to the occupation.
