Biography
Yvonne Wood was an American costume designer. She began her career as a sketch artist after training at the Chouinard School of Art and was under contract at 20th Century Fox from 1943 to 1945 and at Universal from 1945 to 1951.
Her film credits include The Gang's All Here (1943), Winchester '73 (1950), The Court Jester (1955), The Big Country (1958), Man of the West (1958), One-Eyed Jacks (1961) and Zoot Suit (1981). She also worked on television series such as Quincy, M.E. (1978–1980). Wood received a Primetime Emmy nomination and was married to Edward A. Scheffer.
