Biography
Zac Manuel is a cinematographer and director from New Orleans, Louisiana. His cinematography credits include Time (2020), directed by Garrett Bradley, as well as Buckjumping (2018), for which he received the Best Cinematography award for a Louisiana feature at the New Orleans Film Festival, Descendant (2022) and I Am Vanessa Guillen (2022).
Manuel also directs short documentaries and music videos that have screened at festivals including Sundance. He is the son of a touring jazz musician and a community builder at the Department of Housing and Urban Development, and has received grants and fellowships from organisations including Tribeca and IFP.
