Biography
Zachary Sklar is an American screenwriter, journalist, author and editor. He co-wrote the screenplay for the film JFK (1991) with Oliver Stone, drawing on his earlier work editing Jim Garrison’s book On the Trail of the Assassins.
Sklar has additional screen credits on La fiesta del Chivo (2005) and Almayer’s Folly (2012). He has taught magazine writing at the Columbia Graduate School of Journalism and has served as a creative adviser for Sundance Screenwriting Labs. His father was the playwright George Sklar.
