Biography
Zack Estrin was an American television writer and producer. He was born on 16 September 1971 in Woodland, California, and died on 23 September 2022 in Hermosa Beach, California. He studied at the University of Southern California and began his career writing and producing on series including Charmed (1998) and Dawson's Creek (1998).
Estrin served as co-executive producer and writer on Prison Break (2005–2009), contributing teleplays and stories across multiple seasons. He later acted as showrunner and executive producer on Lost in Space (2018–2021). Other credits include Tru Calling (2003), The River (2012), The Whispers (2015) and Once Upon a Time in Wonderland (2013), which he co-created. His father, Jonathan Estrin, was also a screenwriter.
