Biography
Zara Turner is a Northern Irish actress. She was born in Belfast in 1968 and trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama.
She is known for her role as Anna in the 1998 film Sliding Doors and as Laura Sweeney in the 1995 television series Father Ted. Other credits include the series McCallum (1995–1998) as Dr Angela Moloney and the television film Holy Cross (2003) as Ann McClure.
Turner has received the Best Actress award at the Reims International Television Festival and the Golden FIPA at the 2004 Festival International de Programmes Audiovisuels. She is married to actor Reece Dinsdale.
