Biography
Zinnie Harris is a British playwright, screenwriter and director. She was born in Oxford on 23 December 1972 and studied zoology at Oxford University before taking an MA in theatre direction at Hull University.
She has written episodes for the BBC series Spooks (2006–2009) and the miniseries Partners in Crime (2015), as well as the Channel 4 dramas Born with Two Mothers (2005) and Richard Is My Boyfriend (2007). Her stage plays include Further than the Furthest Thing (2000), How to Hold Your Breath (2015) and This Restless House (2016). She is Professor of Playwriting and Screenwriting at the University of St Andrews and Associate Artistic Director at the Royal Lyceum Theatre Edinburgh.
