Biography
Zoë Lund, also credited as Zoë Tamerlis, Zoë Tamerlaine and Zoë Tamerlis Lund, was an American actress, screenwriter, musician, model and political activist. Born Zoë Tamerlis in New York City on 9 February 1962, she died in Paris on 16 April 1999.
She made her screen debut as Thana in Abel Ferrara’s Ms. 45 (1981) and later co-wrote the screenplay for his Bad Lieutenant (1992), in which she also appeared. Other credits include a guest role as Miranda in the Miami Vice episode “The Dutch Oven” (1984) and dual parts in Special Effects (1984). She directed the short films The Innocent Tribunal (1986) and Hot Ticket (1993), and was married to musician Robert Lund from 1986.
