Biography

Zoë White is an Australian cinematographer. Born in Sydney, she studied at the North Carolina School of the Arts and the Australian Film, Television and Radio School. She worked as an assistant to Tom Sigel on Superman Returns (2006) before shooting music videos and independent films such as Nancy (2018), Catfight (2017) and Princess Cyd (2017).

White received ASC and Primetime Emmy nominations for her work on the Hulu series The Handmaid's Tale (2017–2019). Her other credits as director of photography include the Marvel special Werewolf by Night (2022), the Netflix series The Penguin (2024) and Sirens (2025), the documentary Will & Harper (2024) and the features Hold Your Breath (2024) and Trigger Warning (2024). She is a member of the American Society of Cinematographers and the Australian Cinematographers Society, and was named an AC Rising Star of Cinematography in 2019.
