Biography
Zsófia Tálas is a Hungarian-born editor based in London. She graduated in editing from the University of Theatre and Film Arts Budapest and the National Film and Television School, and holds a degree in film history from Eötvös Loránd University.
She edited episodes of the Apple TV+ series Slow Horses (2022–), receiving Emmy and BAFTA nominations for the episode “Footprints”, and has worked on The Agency (2024), Unwelcome (2023), A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder (2024) and the Hungarian feature Bad Poems (2018). Earlier credits include Brassic and The Midwich Cuckoos.
Tálas has received a Royal Television Society Award for the short animation Poles Apart and Hungarian editing awards for Bad Poems. She has collaborated repeatedly with director Saul Metzstein.
