Biography
Abigail J. Thaw (born 1 October 1965) is an English actress. She trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) after spending time in Italy following school.
Thaw is best known for her recurring role as investigative journalist Dorothea Frazil in the ITV series Endeavour (2012–2023). She has appeared in other television series including Midsomer Murders (2009), Agatha Christie's Poirot (2009), Black Mirror (2013), The Nevers (2021) and House of the Dragon (2022), as well as numerous stage productions.
She is the daughter of actor John Thaw and academic Sally Alexander. Her stepmother is actress Sheila Hancock.
