Biography

Adam Gough is a British film editor. Born on 28 November 1982 in Cornwall, England, he studied film at Solent University in Southampton. He began his career in post-production as a runner on Alfonso Cuarón’s Children of Men (2006), progressing through assistant editor roles on films including In Bruges (2008), Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 (2010) and X-Men: First Class (2011).

Gough’s editing credits include Roma (2018), on which he worked with Cuarón, Da 5 Bloods (2020), David Byrne’s American Utopia (2020) and Disclaimer (2024). He is credited as editor on Klara and the Sun (2026). He received a BAFTA nomination and an Academy Award nomination for Best Film Editing for Roma.
