Biography
Adam Nelson is an American actor. A Boston native who grew up in Brockton and on Cape Cod, he attended Bourne High School and studied acting at Cape Cod Community College before moving to Los Angeles to train at a private acting school.
His screen career began with the lead in the award-winning short film Hotel November. Nelson is known for roles including Ensign Monk in The Abyss (1989), Nick Savage in Mystic River (2003), Mackie Shelton in Appaloosa (2008), and appearances in series such as Criminal Minds, The X-Files and Six Feet Under.
