Biography
Adam Scher is a New York-based production designer and art director. His early credits in the art department include set design on Good Will Hunting (1997) and assistant art direction on The Royal Tenenbaums (2001). He later worked as art director on films such as The School of Rock (2003) and Analyze That (2002).
From 2010 to 2014 Scher served as art director on the series Boardwalk Empire, for which he won four consecutive Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Art Direction for a Single-Camera Series. His production design credits include the pilot of Civil (2016), Marvel's Daredevil (2018), Prodigal Son (2019–2021), Pet Sematary: Bloodlines (2023) and episodes of Dead Ringers (2023).
