Biography
Adrian Bower (born 20 August 1970) is an English actor. Born in Chester, Cheshire, he studied drama at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. He is best known for his role as Brian Steadman in the first three series of the Channel 4 comedy-drama Teachers (2001–2003).
Bower has appeared in a range of television series, including The Last Kingdom (2015–2018) as Leofric, Gangs of London (2020) as Mark, Mount Pleasant as Greg, A Touch of Cloth as DC Des Hairihan, and Death in Paradise (2020) as Brian Hunter. His film credits include the blacksmith in Jude (1996), Private Bower in Eat Locals (2017), and the Captain of the Guard in Snow White (2025). He has also worked in theatre, with credits including productions at the Royal National Theatre and the Donmar Warehouse.
