Biography
Adrienne C. Moore is an American actress. She was born on 14 August 1980 in Nashville, Tennessee, and graduated with a B.A. from Northwestern University in 2003.
She began her career in stage productions before appearing in small television roles in series including Blue Bloods (2012) and 30 Rock (2012). Moore is best known for portraying Cindy "Black Cindy" Hayes in the Netflix series Orange Is the New Black (2013–2019), appearing as a recurring cast member before becoming a series regular. Her other credits include the lead role of Detective Kelly Duff in Pretty Hard Cases (2021–2023), and film roles such as Ms. Pepper in Shaft (2019) and Yolanda in Juror #2 (2024). She has received NAACP Image Award nominations and shared in Screen Actors Guild Awards for ensemble performance.
