Biography
Agnès Guillemot, also credited as Agnès Julia Marie Perche, was a French film editor. Born in Roubaix in 1931, she trained at the Institut des hautes études cinématographiques (IDHEC) and later taught editing there. She was married to director Claude Guillemot.
Guillemot edited sixteen films for Jean-Luc Godard, including Une femme est une femme (1961), Vivre sa vie (1962), Contempt (1963), Alphaville (1965), Masculin féminin (1966) and Weekend (1967). She also edited four films for François Truffaut, among them Stolen Kisses (1968) and The Wild Child (1970), as well as works by Jean-Charles Tacchella and Catherine Breillat.
She died in 2005.
