Biography
Aisha Hinds is an American actress and director. She was born on 13 November 1975 in Brooklyn, New York. She began her career with a guest role on NYPD Blue in 2003 and went on to appear in recurring parts on The Shield and guest spots on series including Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Boston Legal and Desperate Housewives.
Hinds held series regular roles on Invasion (2005–2006) and Detroit 1-8-7 (2010–2011), and recurring roles on Dollhouse, HawthoRNe, True Blood and Cult. Her film credits include Star Trek Into Darkness (2013), Unstoppable (2010), If I Stay (2014) and Godzilla: King of the Monsters (2019), in which she played Colonel Diane Foster. Since 2018 she has starred as Henrietta 'Hen' Wilson on the series 9-1-1, on which she has also directed episodes.
