Biography
Akemnji Ndifornyen is a British actor, writer, composer and producer. Born in London on 18 November 1989, he began his career with recurring roles in the BBC series Doctors (2004–2005) as Nathan Bailey and The Crouches (2003). He later appeared in Casualty, Law & Order: UK and the feature film Life and Lyrics (2006), and performed in The History Boys at the National Theatre.
Ndifornyen is known for playing Niccolò Machiavelli in the CBBC series Leonardo (2011–2012) and for his work on the BBC Three sketch show Famalam (2018–2020), for which he won a BAFTA Breakthrough Talent award in 2019 as writer, composer and producer. His other television credits include Death in Paradise (2018), The Queen's Gambit (2020), Black Ops (2023, also writer) and Doctor Who (2025). He played Michael in the 2025 film The Ballad of Wallis Island.
