Biography
Al Ruscio (1924–2013) was an American character actor who appeared in numerous films and television series. Born in Salem, Massachusetts, he trained at the Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre in New York and moved to Los Angeles in 1958, where his early film work included a role in Al Capone (1959).
Ruscio had credits in films such as Any Which Way You Can (1980), Jagged Edge (1985), The Godfather Part III (1990) as Leo Cuneo, Showgirls (1995) as Mr. Karlman, and The Phantom (1996). His television appearances included episodes of Seinfeld (1993), The X-Files (1993), The Wonder Years (1988), ER (1994) and recurring roles on series including Life Goes On. He also worked as an acting teacher and served on the board of the Screen Actors Guild. He was married to actress Kate Williamson from 1954 until his death.
