Biography
Aleksandar Mikic is a Bosnian actor, sometimes credited as Aleksander Mikic. He grew up in Tuzla and moved to the United Kingdom in the early 1990s. He trained at Adam Smith College and the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama.
Mikic's earliest credited television role was in the comedy series Auf Wiedersehen, Pet (2002). He is known for playing Soyka in the film Eastern Promises (2007) and for appearances in Doctor Who: The Waters of Mars (2009), Sherlock (2010), Call the Midwife (2012) and RED 2 (2013). He has also voiced characters in the video games Castlevania: Lords of Shadow (2010) and Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 (2014). He resides in the United Kingdom.
